Smith Haverty joined Atlanta Property Group in 2013 and oversees the firm’s investment activity, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings. During his time at APG, he has been involved in principal transactions totaling nearly $2.0 billion.
Prior to joining APG, he began his career in SunTrust Robinson Humphrey’s Real Estate Group, which provided real estate advice to investment banking clients and acquired single-tenant real estate assets. While at SunTrust, Smith was involved in over $250 million of real estate transactions.
Smith earned a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Georgia. He is a member of CREDA (formerly NAIOP), where he recently participated in a National Developing Leaders Forum. Smith is a native of Atlanta and currently lives in Buckhead with his wife, Brittany, and their three sons.
